Noticeboard

  Season 2008/2009
The official start of the new season is almost upon us and with this in mind the website has been updated to reflect this in terms of the teams, contact details for managers and coaches, training and match venues etc. League fixtures have not as yet been published and will be added once they are available.
  Membership Subscriptions
A reminder to existing and new members that subscriptions are due by September 1st.
Please ensure that membership forms and remittance are submitted as soon as possible to ease the significant administrative burden on the club and its officials. Both items are required for valid membership and the form must be signed by a parent or guardian.  The form and welcome letter are available from team managers and other club officials or can be downloaded from the members page on this website. Many thanks in anticipation of your support on this matter.
The club is now able to accept payment by credit/debit card and if you have an  account with our payment processor PayPal you can use that instead.
This service is available online via the clubshop which is a separate website accessible from this one, goto the members page and select the clubshop link.
Please note there will be an
additional charge of 3.75% of the total to cover the costs of providing this service.

  New Players Required
New players are required by our under 8, under 11, under 12, under 13 and under 14 age groups to strengthen their squads. Further details can be found on the recruitment page of this website.
  Newsletter
For 2008 the club will be launching a formal newsletter to keep members directly informed about various subjects related to the club and junior football.
This will supplement and compliment existing communications via team managers and this website with additional special interest items, team profiles etc. The intention is to begin with a quarterly release supported by adhoc releases as and when important news items arise.
Publication will ideally be fully electronic; by email and downloadable from this website with limited distribution by traditional means. Electronic subscribe and unsubscribe options will also be provided.
We will also be looking for support from members to produce and publish the newsletter and as such are looking for a volunteer(s) to help with this.  Support can be as little as sending out the bulk emails and collating or providing content to creating the newsletter using computer publishing software using facilities provided by the club.
If you are interested in getting involved, know someone else who might be or better still already doing this type of thing as a "day-job" then please contact the chairman; Howard Gladwyn on 01943 871825 or by email at chair@menstonjfc.co.uk
  Club Lottery
In association with Guiseley AFC the club will shortly be launching its own lottery to provide an alternative means to our usual fund raising campaigns.
The lottery will be available to non-members as well and further details will be published here, via team mangers and via the soon to be launched newsletter in the near future.
